DAMAGE HISTORY:
This is a total remanufacture by Maule Mods after major damage in 2002 at 71 hrs. TT. New parts include fuselage (required to convert to tri-gear), poly cover, new wings, gear, wheels, struts, hardware and cable, engine mount, electrical wiring harness, glass, cowl, wing tips, glare shield, brakes and line, autopilot overhauled, exchange overhauled engine installed (IO 540-W1A5D required for conversion), avionics replaced, Garmin installed later, new 3blade prop installed after one prop blade of two struck tow bar on starting attempt (owner wanted a 3blade), Lycoming SB 475C & AD 2004-10-14 C/W. FAA inspected twice and first certificate issued 8/4/06, recertified by the FAA 6/3/2010 at a total time of 137 hours requiring new annual, completion of a full STC and condition inspection for conformity to approved type certificate data, no repairs, a paperwork issue, new data plate issued. Aircraft based in Phoenix until 8/12 then central Mass., always hangered. This is a chance to buy a nearly new Maule at a substantial discount that should hold its value or increase in value the more time and years it accumulates.
