    Description
1981 Beech Skipper with less than 2000 hours total time on the airframe and less than 1600 total time on the engine. I have owned her since 2015 and used primarily as a convenient way to keep my flying skills sharp while I attempted to land a fulltime flying job, which I have now accomplished. Now it's time to sell, reluctantly. My Skipper has become part of the family and the plane I took my four year old son flying in for the first time. The Beech Skipper is a very comfortable little two place with a very wide cockpit that makes every other two place feel like a sardine can. True to the Beechcraft legacy, it is overbuilt and very solid. As a result, it is heavier than it's contemporaries and therefore has the slightly stronger 115hp engine. Since I have owned it, I have had both vacuum instruments and the vacuum pump replaced (2018), both magnetos replaced (2018), new battery (2019), new exhaust manifold (2019), two plexiglass windows replaced, new cockpit door weather strip seals (2019), new main gear tires (2019), one cylinder rebuilt (2015), new rubber engine mounts (2015), rebuilt nose strut (2015) and more. Plane is regularly flown and has been a California based aircraft for most of it's life and has no corrosion. It is undergoing annual now with the same A&P who has looked after it for almost the entire time I have owned it. The very first annual I had done by Beech specialists Waypoint Aviation at KRAL. If you are in the market for a 150/152 or Tomahawk, give this Skipper a second look. It is better built, and much more comfortable on the inside with that wide cabin. The Skipper trims out very easily (has rudder trim too) and is truly great for training maneuvers, pattern practice and is a great little cross country time builder that is fun to fly and comfortable to sit in for hours at a time. Also, it has a 2400 hour TBO!
