1947 Republic RC-3 Sea Bee C-FBUM Serial Number: 806 Subject aircraft imported into Canada July 1, 2010 from USA at 1313.3 hours TTSN. At that time engine had 57.1 hours since major overhaul. Work completed since importation: 2010 - Oil and fuel lines fitted with fire-proof sleeves - Vacuum pump replaced - Air Wolf STC oil filter installed - Weldon electric fuel pump replaced 2011 - All electrical wires replaced - Brake pedal lines replaced - All tires replaced - Landing / taxi light installed - Electric pitot installed - Landing gear wheel bearings and cups replaced Aircraft sold to current owner at 1462.2 hours February 10, 2016 New owner directed complete disassembly, inspection and rebuild of aircraft, including the following: - Aircraft disassembled; powder blasted to bare metal, inspected and repaired as necessary - Rear wing spars removed to facilitate complete inspection of wings and application of zinc chromate primer; then reassembled - Strut attach fittings removed from fuselage; cleaned to bare metal; inspected and reinstalled - Aluminum surfaces alodined, primed and painted with automotive grade finish - All plexiglass windscreens and mouldings replaced with new - Fuel cell overhauled - Propeller overhauled - Governor overhauled - Engine inspected and all hoses replaced - All hardware replaced with new - Engine driven fuel pump replaced with overhauled unit - GEM engine monitor installed - All landing gear seals replaced - All wing flap seals replaced - Altimeter overhauled - Airspeed overhauled - ELT overhauled and recertified C-FBUM Options / Enhancements to aircraft; - Daubenspeck (S.T.C. Bee, Inc.) Engine upgrade to Lycoming GO 435 Engine (260HP) (Time since overhaul as at 03/12/2020 is 179.8 hours) - Simu flight heated pitot system - Simu flight landing / taxi light installed - Wing extensions - Wide spray rails - Cleveland disc brakes - Steerable tail wheel - Electric bilge pumps
