Description
This is the most economic high speed cruiser and definitely the fastest and most fuel efficient high-wing airplane in its category (3.6 gph autogas or LL100, crusing 120kts in 7500ft), easily operating to 15.000 ft and more, VNE 163 kts.
The big “5 year” annual inspection, including prop manufacturer inspection at Woodcomp, many new parts as required, like all fluids, hoses, dampers, tires, etc…, has been done in July 2016, at 290 hrs. Currently registered as an Experimental Exhibition/Air Race, but can be registered as a glider, which would require no medical. This plane has always been hangered and mainly used to take areal IR pictures close to the ground all over the West Coast, which required the safest, slow-flight-capable and forgiving plane with up to 900+ miles range.
