Best UK home built aircraft After almost 40 years in the aerobatic aircraft business, and having sold over 450 aircraft, I can honestly say that this is probably the most beautifully-made aircraft I have seen. The builder and owner is a leading UK architect, and the quality of its build is a testament to his extraordinarily high standards! It is to the latest specification with shorter fuselage and wings and larger ailerons. It was judged the best UK home-built aircraft in 2017. First flown in July 2017, and total time since new on airframe and MTV-9-250 propeller 44 hours. We supplied the M 14 PF engine which we overhauled to perfect zero time condition having only flown 275 hours from new, and now 50 hours since. 426 dynamometer-recorded horsepower. Very light – only 695 kg, including oil and unusable fuel so amazing performance. Full dual controls and interchangeable single and two seat canopies. Special carbon fibre seats and Hooker ratchet harnesses front and rear. All hoses braided Aeroquip. No damage history.
