Description
AEVEX is the provider of the Twin Otter X2™ aircraft! A completely re-manufactured RE-LIFE® version of the legendary DHC-6 series Twin Otter. AEVEX’s "Re-Life" process delivers the Twin Otter X2™ as a "Zero Time" Twin Otter with new structural life limits of 66,000 hours or 132,000 cycles, whichever comes first, the same as a Factory-New aircraft. All AEVEX Twin Otter X2™'s can be customized to meet specific requirements and a wide variety of available configurations.
AEVEX's Twin Otter X2™ Package is comprised of the following features:
- AEVEX DHC-6 Re-Life® Fuselage
- AEVEX DHC-6 Re-Life® Wing Boxes
- AEVEX DHC-6 Re-Life® Flight Controls
- AEVEX DHC-6 Re-Life® Nacelles
- New fuselage, wing, and nacelle wiring harnesses, with overhauled electrical panels
- All systems components overhauled or factory-new
- Fixed wheeled landing gear, overhauled, with new tires and Cleveland wheels/brakes
- All maintenance and Five year corrosion inspections
- New exterior paint (2 color) using DuPont™ Imron polyurethane enamel, with registration markings
- Airstair door or passenger entry "Swing" door
- Aircraft MTOW 14,000 lbs (RWMI DHC-6-300HG™ Standard Commuter Category or RWMI DHC-6-300RG™ Restricted Category STC.)
- FAA Standard Certificate of Airworthiness.

The Garmin G950 NXi system is recommended as an integrated system with flexibility to meet specific capabilities you may need. The Garmin G950NXi system meets EASA and IATA requirements and is compatible with AEVEX's DHC-6-300HG™.
The typical Garmin G950 NXi configuration is as follows:
• Dual Garmin GDU1050 ten-inch (10”) Primary Flight Displays (PFD), Pilot/Co-Pilot.
• Garmin GDU1550 fifteen-inch (15”) Multi-Functional Display (MFD).
• Garmin GCU477 MFD Controller.
• Dual Garmin GDC7400 Air Data Computers (ADC).
• Dual Garmin GRS79 Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS).
• Dual Garmin GIA 64W WAAS GPS/NAV/COM Integrated Avionics Units.
• Garmin GTX ADS-B Transponder (Single or Dual).
• Dual Garmin GEA 71B Engine/Airframe Interface units.
