Description
This plane is flown as an every day plane just like a 182. It is maintained accordingly. Bought in 1953 by the Boise Mining Company in Idaho and used to move employees and executives to the outlying mines and back to the office. Current owner has owned it since 2001 and uses it as any GA aircraft. It lives in Idaho on a grass strip and commutes occasionally to California. His business meant that he had to fly between Wyoming, Colorado, Montana, Idaho and California when he was working. Now he has retired he does not need such a big plane and so it is for sale. No major damage history. No hail. No corrosion. A very practical classic radial aircraft that can be run for about the same price a a later model 180.
