Airframe Notes
The aircraft towing trolley is used to pull small and medium-sized aircraft from the hangar to runway and runway to the hangar. While driving, the front landing gear is on the towing trolley, while the rear wheels of the plane roll freely on the ground. The trolley has its own drive and is easily operated by a man walking next to it.
Electro - Hydraulic handling cart.
Dimensions - length 3.3 m - width 1.6 m - out. 1.3m
Weight - 500 kg
Engine power - 4kW
Power supply - 230 V
Permissible weight of the towed plane - 6 tons
Driving range - 1 km / 3 km (laden / unladen)
Driving speed - up to 4 km / h
The drive is started by:
Turning the ignition switch that turns on the control power supply - relay and starts the electric motor connected with the pump, switching the "drive" switch overriding the valve, tilting the lever for travel direction and speed which changes the direction of pumping and pump flow through the cable.
The direction of travel depends on the direction of the lever and the speed on the degree of its deflection.
When driving forward, the pump pumps the working liquid through the flow divider evenly to two low speed engines mounted directly on two rear wheels. When reversing, the liquid is pumped in the opposite direction from the pump through two hydraulic motors and the flow divider.
Turning is done by turning the drawbar together with the front wheel. At the same time, the limit switch, when the tiller is turned, overrides the valve, which activates the "hydraulic differential", which enables uneven rotational speed of the right and left hydraulic motors. Braking is performed by throttling the flow through two brake valves.
Moreover, the system is equipped with a tank with a system of filters and, a cooler with an overflow valve, batteries, fuses, safety switch, contractor.
