The wing is based on the well-proven NACA63A airfoil. Through partial tapering, the design brings it close to the optimal lift distribution (elliptical). The Frise-type aileron along with the taper design provides a high rate of roll. White with Blue, Black and Silver. The P2008T LSA is a single engine, 2-seat, 2-door, high wing aircraft with a carbon fiber fuselage and metal wings for superior strength and stability. The combination of both composite material and metal has resulted in a more fuel-efficient and much quieter aircraft. It has springleaf landing gear - wheels, tires and fairings (to minimize drag), which has withstood the test of time and extensive use in flight training environments. The newly designed nose gear is free castering and consists of a tubular steel leg connected to the lower engine mount attachments and is braced by an oleo pneumatic shock absorber that provides excellent ground load absorption. Ground steering is by differential braking.
