AVIONICS NOTES:
• ADBS participating traffic will show on the following: G600, G530, G430, MX200. The pilot can select how he would like to view the traffic. Alerts will show on G600, G530, G430, as well as, audibly.
• There is no Stormscope, but the plane is equipped to receive Doppler radar feed through an XM Radio subscription. The weather can be depicted on G600, G530, G430. Also XM Radio subscription allows for inflight METARS and TAFs in addition to music. The plane has an onboard color radar so the pilot has both live radar and delayed Doppler.
• The G600 can be set up to display the G430 as the primary NAV or as secondary NAV. As a secondary NAV, the display depicts info as an RMI needle. Also the G430 depicts info on the Copilot's side in an old style Omni with Glide Slope. This is a great back-up too, when using G530 as a primary for approaches.
• A Jepp Subscription is available to download Approach Plates directly to the G600 screen. The plates and the airport diagram are geo-referenced so you get live visual Image of your position onto the plate or diagram. This is beneficial when taxiing at a large airport with many runways and taxiways. You know exactly where you are on the airport at all times. A great safety feature.
