Description
This is the first Eagle 2 and includes increased take off weight of 3,300 lbs and three blade prop. It was owned by Mooney for the first 300 hours. “Cover Girl” appeared on the cover of the 2001 Mooney brochure and in several aviation magazines including AOPA. I acquired the aircraft in 2003. TKS was added at the TKS factory in Salina, KS. I had an MX-20 installed to display WSI Datalink weather. This is a no issue aircraft with everything working. If you are looking for a capable fast easy to maintain aircraft you will not be disappointed.

Exterior Notes
White over blue w/gold and red strip. Aircraft is hangar kept. Paint is beautiful and is the great color scheme that Mooney used on Eagles in 2001. It shows minor chips that are normal with use. In 2004 the plane was on the ramp during a hail storm. The minor dimples that remain in the thin skins of the flight controls are small in size and cosmetic in nature. The dimples did not make the plane any faster like dimples on a golf ball, much to my dismay.

Seats were recovered in 2007 with synthetic leather with cloth inserts. Original leather cracked and split in the dry southwest air at my home base in Colorado.
