    IFR and Transponder Check Next Due 2/2015 Current on FAA Approval AAIP Low Time Since Wing Pull Low Time Since SID Inspections- Done at 29,529 Hours All ADs In Compliance HISTORY: Skytrain built as 41-38672 and delivered to the US Army Air Force, via Mobile, Alabama depot, on 29 November, 1942. It was assigned to the North African Wing of the US Air Transport Command on 29 May, 1943. It served with the US 9th Air Force and was in France on 8 September, 1947. On 26 November, 1947 it was registered as F-BEFF to Aigle Azure, and it went to F. Moreau trading as Avions Blues during June 1951. Union Aeromaritime de Transport (UAT) bought this DC-3 on 7 May, 1952 and fitted it with small Pallas auxiliary jet engines. On 1 April, 1954 it was registered to Autrex (Cie Autrex-Lopez Loreta) and on 17 November, 1955 it was transferred to the French Air Force, becoming 38672. By December it was in North Africa at Boufarik with Groupe de Liaisons Aeriennes GLA-45 which was equipped with ten C-47 transports. It was still with the same unit in October 1958 with radio call-sign FSCDC. In January 1964 it was assigned to GT 1/63 at Thies, North Africa. During its military service, it served with Groupe Acrien Mixte GAMOM 81 and Groupe Aerien dEntrainement et de Liaison ELA 56 in 1962, EL 070 in 1966 and EL 54 in 1969. On 25 July, 1973 as F-OGFJ it was bought by J.P. le Cozannet trading as Air Antilles and in 1979 it passed to Ste Satair, Laventin trading as Air Martinique. It was for sale at Opa Locka, Florida on 27 May, 1983 and went to United Aviation in October 1983. This registration was cancelled on 4 October, and in December 1983 it was re-registered N4550J with F.V. Moss. Aircraft based at KCEY Airport in Murray, KY.
