RESTORATION DETAILS:
5/2014: Fuselage structure cleaned and refinished as necessary. Fuselage recovered with PolyFiber in accordance with STC. Wings were acquired from another O-58B that had been previously modified via STC for a wing fuel tank install. It is estimated that fabric is 10 years old on wings.
1/2015: Fabric covered left and right horizontals and elevators and rudder per the PolyFiber STC.
HISTORY:
This aircraft was assigned to glider training in Dunneleon, FL from February – September 1943 then was surplused.
