    Description
I bought the Skymaster as my first twin aircraft. I found it very easy to learn on because you do not have to worry about VMC, unlike conventional twins. The skymaster also had very similar flight characteristics to the 172 I finished my private license on. The skymaster has been a great cross country flying platform, and I normally cruse at 16000 - 18,000 feet pressurized, with no oxygen. I regularly fly over the great lakes, so I wanted the safety of a twin. The skymaster also has de-ice equipment to help protect you in the event that you get stuck in icing conditions. From the POH: economy cruise fuel flow at 14K ft is 13gph / 150mph TAS. Max cruise at 20K ft is 26.8gph / 229mph TAS. Most of my trips have averaged about 20gph cruising around 200mph tas. Very clean aircraft with meticulous maintenance needs nothing no damage history always hangared Times will change as aircraft used for personal travel
