    Description
Flown reqularly in very good shape. This aircraft is those who aihsed they had a Comanche 400(8Cyl). 260 hp Turbo Normalized engine was specifically designed and fitted into about 27 260C models. This is not a regular 260 retrofitted with Turbo. It is known fact that as aircraft gains altitude its engine begins to loose horsepower due to loss of air density. Depending on OAT, normal-aspirated 260 engine at 10,000 ft will only have about 150-170HP or less. With this Comanche I can go all the way to FL250 with about 260HP, almost no loss of engine power. It si roomy, comfortable and fast. I would never sell this comanche, except that I am getting a Lancair IVP which performs at about 280 kts. I will miss the usefull load and the comfortable roomy interior. 6 Cylinder Comanche with 8 Cylinder performance

    Airframe Notes
Due to impressive speed of this Comanche (it only takes me about 1.3 hrs to go from Los Angeles to Las Vegas (220 nm), it gets you to far places at a very low time it only has 1800 hrs TTSN.
