Description
WOW ... Very Rare $23,500.00! ...1969 S.O.C.A.T.A. Rallye Minerva 220 MS-894A / Also Known as a Waco Minerva,
with a Franklin 6A-350C1 220 hp and a McCauley 2A 34C22-P 63 hour SOH Propeller in 2012
The Rallye 894A wing features extending leading edge slats that deploy and retract automatically at abut 80 mph.
The slats, when extended, aid in slow flight. With the leading edge slats extended and the fowler flaps extended she takes a very short field take-off and landing. Basically keeping the airplanes wings and nose level at stall speeds. The Rallye 894A is also a good tow airplane. Good at slow flights with large banners.
Rallye wing Airfoil is the NACA 63A416
Rallye 5 Digit Serial Number related to a Heavy Airframe for Utility Use.
