Description
This beautiful 1946 Globe Swift has been meticulously restored and modified and featured in the AOPA Magazine and Calendar as well as the Legends Calendar. It was completely restored by the past Swift Museum Parts man, Joe Ranson, at the Swift Museum In Tennessee in the mid 1990s. It has been carefully maintained, improved, and is a wonderful modern rendition of a classic airplane. If you are familiar with this airplane, the tail wheel gear was retractable, as you can tell by this in flight picture. The tail wheel gear has since been upgraded to the original fixed gear which improves safety in landing and taxiing capabilities.
