Description
Heads turn, when you taxi onto the ramp! This D50C Excalibur 800” Twin Bonanza model converted by Swearingen has low time Lycoming IO-720 normally aspirated 400 horsepower 1,800 TBO engines. They provide high performance and speed, and an increase in gross weight from 6,300 to 7,600 pounds, thereby resulting in an envious useful load. Creature comforts abound. Note the long radar nose and landing gear door enclosures and heavy duty brakes. Fuel capacity was increased from 180 to 230 gallons. There were just a handful of the Excalibur 800 conversions constructed by Swearingen, with only 3 currently in the fleet. It is the ultimate aircraft for speed, pilot and cabin passenger comfort, altitude and single engine performance, with modest operating costs. Why fly a Baron when you can have both high performance and great cabin space. There's even a refreshment center with a flushing potty for those long trips. A detailed spec sheet and set of photos sent upon request. Why even consider a Baron, when you can have it all - Speed, performance, comfort and safety. E-mail [email protected] or call 269.279.2540 (Cell 269.251.2636 for a complete equipment list and detailed photographs. I have two Twin Bonanzas and will sell one or the other.
