    Gorgeous Murphy Super Rebel - Outstanding Craftsmanship - Glass Panel Engine Monitoring This gorgeous Murphy Super Rebel/Moose was built over a ten year period by an experienced homebuilder and meticulous craftsman. It is a Murphy Super Rebel kit fitted with some of the beef-up mods that led to the development of the Murphy Moose. Consequently the gross weight of this plane is 3200 pounds, up from the standard Super Rebel gross weight of 2500 pounds but not quite to the 3500 pound limit of the newer Moose. It is fitted with a 250hp Lycoming O540 with only 239 hours since factory new. The workmanship on this aircraft is better than you’ll find on any factory built plane and the paint job is stunning. This is a huge airplane with extended range fuel tanks (80 gallons) and a 1152 pound useful load.
