The Meyers 200 website says: "The Meyers is the fastest normally-aspirated (non-turbocharged) production piston single-engine plane ever built."
The plane was annualled this summer and then one of our pilots flew it from Maryland down to an enclosed hangar in Lancaster, SC. This flight is not included in the Airframe, Engine & Prop times listed above.
Many have asked about corrosion. The plane has had anti-corrosion treatment in the past. There is some surface rust on the nose strut that is visible in the photo, and a few rivets on the upper surface of the stabilizer have paint flaking off because of minor surface corrosion. I opened the wings & tail didn't see any corrosion inside.
In one of the photos, the transponder has been removed for maintenance. It has since been repaired.
This is your last chance to buy this airplane. If the auction ends without a bidder, we will accept a previous offer on it.
