    Inspection Status

    Inspection Status
Next Inspection Due October 2016. In the summer of 2015, the engine was removed due to the failure of the starter adapter (internal gear failure which resulted in the engine ingesting metal). The engine was inspected an repaired by Western Skyways. During the rebuild the following parts were overhauled: Crankcase, Starter Adapter, Oil Pump Housing, Oil Cooler, Intake and Exhaust Lifters, Crankshaft and Cam Gear, Both Turbochargers, Prop Governor, Magnetos (500 Hr. Inspection) and Connecting Rods. Additionally, all six cylinders were replaced with FACTORY NEW. This is about as close as you can get to an overhaul without it actually being called an overhaul. The Aircraft has approximately 50 hours on it since this inspection.
