This aircraft was purchased in 1988. It was formerly used in Alaska for logging operations and Texas for Heavy lift work. Turner Copter Service has used the aircraft for the last 23 years for External lift work throughout the Midwest. The aircraft has been kept in a hangar the entire time we have owned it. That being said it was stored in a dirt floor hangar so the material condition in some areas is fairly dirty. An extensive cleanup and power washing of the aircraft has been completed. In August of 2011 an annual inspection was completed along with a short test flight. The aircraft had not been started since 2006 but it started and ran very well. The aircraft is mechanically sound and component life is very good, it also has a cabin heater in the transition section past the avionics compartment. There are two items that are low in remaining hours and one that needs to be replaced. We also have many spares, the majority of them are timed out components however there is a large inventory still good for spare parts. S-58J Sikorsky
