All necessary documentation available including 40 books for the airframe, engines, propellers, equipment, erection manuals, maintenance manuals, parts catalog, overhaul manuals and 14,000 Douglas original drawings on microfilm/digital. Allocated to 6400 Air Defense Wing, joined 7th ADW at Iwaki. -Joined 17th Bomber Wing Korea in February 1953. -Joined 3 Rd Bomber Wing in May 1954,Flew at Pusan, Miho and Kunsan. -Retired November 1956 and stored at Davis Mountain. -Aircraft was never converted to Fire Bomber or an Executive Aircraft.
