I am putting my 1998 182S, N26264 up for sale. It has roughly 4000TTAF and 750SMOH. It is in very good condition with no deferred maintenance. It has the standard King IFR stack and is a very capable airplane. I purchased the airplane in 2008 and have flown it about 700 hours. It has been a great family airplane but the kids are getting bigger now and I'm moving up to a 310. I have flown it routinely for the past several years, usually 2-3 time per week. The crankshaft AD has not been complied with, but since the engine was overhauled in 2006 just before the AD was effective, you can legally fly it until the fall of 2018 (12 years from overhaul date) or TBO, whichever comes first. At that point you would presumably have Lycoming overhaul the engine or you could opt for one of the higher power engine conversions. I have priced the airplane for (hopefully) a quick sale at $129,000. I believe that this is the best value in a restart 182. Immaculately maintained, routinely flown 182S. I have moved up to a 310 as my family needs a bigger plane. This airplane looks and flies great and is PRICED TO SELL.
