Aviat Husky on Wipline 2011 Amphibious Floats - 406 ELT for International Travel This is the last of 32 Huskies produced during their first year of production. Serial No. 1032 is the first Husky commissioned by US Dept. of Interior in Alaska utilized by US Fish and Wildlife Service for wildlife tracking. It has FAA certification for Radio-Telemetry wildlife tracking (equipment removed). It was factory upgraded to A-1A through 1994 model year, including new fabric and paint after a ground loop incident when in use by FWS. Aircraft maintained to 135 standards since new and currently owned by A&P mechanic – commercial seaplane pilot. Present owner has flown Husky for pleasure and briefly for air tours.
