Production of the FBA-2C began in 1964 and over the next two years twenty-seven aircraft were produced. In 1965, the decisions was made to terminate production of the FBA-2C and concentrate on developing a larger model called the Centennial Model 100. For business reasons, the company ceased operations in 1967. Over the next forty years, the FBA-2C developed a legendary reputation in Canada's remote northern territories as a safe, rugged, reliable, and economical aircraft. For example, Tudhope Airways, which has been operating a Found FBA-2C for over 17 years on floats and skis, logged over 13,500 hours and over 59,000 flight cycles.
