Built by the famed Italian aircraft designer Stelio Frati. The F.14 Nibbio is an all wooden fabric covered aircraft. The aircraft is a classic hard-to-find bird (only ten build, with only two known flying)! Ownership in this aircraft, is ownership in Italy’s post-war reemerging, strong aircraft industry. The two-part monocoque design frequently gives an impression of a modern composite construction, but it’s all wood and is sometimes described as the four seat Falco – as both aircraft share the same airframe (NACA 64000 laminar profile), wing loading and power/weight ratio. Comfortable 140kt cruise at 65% power, using 38 ltr/h (10gal/h). Aircraft has a good short field performance and a max endurance 250 liters (66gal)/6.5 hours (no reserves) Privately owned, no corrosion, all AD’s complied with, excellent maintenance history, complete and continuous logbooks since new, always hangared, well managed, smooth running aircraft with NO DAMAGE HISTORY.
