    The Lanciar Sentry really speaks for itself. Tandem military-style seating. Excellent maneuverability and control harmony. Huge speed. This is a truly incredible airplane.

    This is the prototype Lancair Sentry. There is only one of these in the world. Originally developed for the kit and military training market, the Lancair Sentry is a 300kt tandem trainer. It is as good at dogfighting as it is at taking two in huge comfort across the US. The airplane has 920 Hrs and is in good condition.

    N806EY has a Walters M601DX turbine, an experimental version of the M601 making 700hp. The engine has 920 Hrs since new. A complete IRAN with many replacement and reconditioned parts just 1 year ago totaled almost $100k and gives the engine a new lease on life.

    The aircraft started as a lancair IV. It shares the wings and horizontal from the IV but has a much larger and reinforced vertical fin and ventral strakes. The wing has been strengthened to accommodate two under-wing hard-points. The upper half of the fuselage and canopy is unique to the Sentry. The tandem canopy provides excellent visibility. Sharing the lower fuselage from a four-place airplane, the Sentry is very large and very comfortable for  both pilot and co-pilot. Copilot has rudders/brakes and stick.

    Paint is in decent condition. Needs some refinishing, but in general is in good condition. Shines up nicely, but could use some small touch-ups in high wear areas (leading edges).

    Original Interior. Everything is in very good condition except for the seats. Usual wear and tear on the seats, but they are showing their age. Seats came from production Columbia aircraft and would look best reupholstered with new leather.
