Courtesy Aircraft is offering this special piece of aviation history; A Fully Standard Certified 1954 AEROCAR. This AEROCAR features folding wings that can be towed behind the automobile while in transit on the road. It also features automobile necessities including a horn and rear view mirror. This is one of five original AEROCARS that still exists today.

    Two-Place aircraft with side-by-side seating, four wheels, high, unobtrusive wings and a single Lycoming O-320 Engine mounted over the rear wheels. The propeller is mounted at the end of a long tail cone, and the latter is angled up considerably, to provide adequate propeller clearance. Cruise speed is 100 mph. Takeoff speed is 55 mph and the airplane is controlled with the same steering wheel. It takes approximately 10 minutes to convert the automobile to an airplane.
