Thoroughly maintained and flown often. This Meyers is a rare 200D model retrofitted with a IO-550 and a 3 Blade prop through a field approval. Interior is ten years old. Seats are very comfortable. Paint is fifteen years old. It has been sheltered most of that time and shows well. Aircraft sustained minor damage December 02’. Nose gear failed and jammed on retraction. Actuator was the culprit. The prop was stopped prior to landing. However, insurance sent the engine for inspection. Results were an undamaged and normal engine. New Meyers style gear doors were located and subsequently fabricated and custom fit to airplane. New propeller installed. New actuator installed. Minor nose bowl scratches glassed and painted. Other items I have had addressed include: new, custom fabricated fuel doors that are now strong and flush, work required removal of all four tanks, original style wingtips, new Michelin tires, new static wicks, and many other odds and ends that frequently are forgotten on a thirty year old airplane. Cruise is 180 knots true. Cruise climb is 120 knots and 1000fpm. Fast IO-550 powered 200D, Price Reduced!
