Description
The Lambada's goal is to provide an aircraft that is capable of exceptional soaring performance while still having the practicality of a conventional powered aircraft. When in the tail dragger configuration with its propeller feathered and winglet extensions installed, the Lamabada is capable of an impressive 30:1 glide ratio. The T-tailed Lambada has won numerous soaring contests in Europe. With its sophisticated wing geometry and teardrop shaped fuselage, the Lambada has a similar appearance to many high performance sailplanes. Statically tested to +12G's, the wing is available in a conventional flap configuration (like the Samba) or flaperon configuration. No tools are required to remove the wings of Lambada enabling easy ground transport. A concerted effort has been put into minimizing the parts count to the point that even the seats in the aircraft are an integral part of the fuselage structure. The Lambada combines powered-flight freedom and soaring pleasure in an impressively elegant package. Combines powered-flight freedom and soaring pleasure in an impressively elegant package!
