    Description
Gorgeous Pristine Above Average Restoration. Some 5 years of work went into this rare airplane that flies as good as it looks. Beautiful blue and white exterior paint. Tan leatherette seats and white headliner. The engine compartment and all aspects of the airframe are detailed nicely. All AD’s complied with. No damage history. Excellent log books and records including the original logs, operation limitations, and CAA Inspection Report signed by J. C. Funk. Other items are as follows: TT-725, 10 hours SMOH on Continental C85-12, with electrical system, new bendix mags, harness, plugs, and 150 mufflers. McCauley Metal Propeller model 7148. Annual-10/01/01, New Annual with sale or 11/01/02. All new instruments. Icom A22 Nav-Comm. AK 450 ELT. Intercom included. Transponder not yet installed. New wood spars, ribs, stringers, etc. All metal bead blasted, primed and epoxy paint. Ceconite fabric and dope. New windshield and side glass. New main gear tires and tail-wheel. New seat sling and seat belts. Dual controls. This airplane can be shown at fly-ins, used as a time builder, has advantages over a Piper Cub, Taylorcraft, Aeronca Chief/Champ, because it has a C85 and full electrical system, and besides that is rare and unique. It can be a lot of fun to own and take pride in. It’s like buying a new airplane. It would take a lot of money to start from the beginning and have this restoration done.
