Description
The VariViggen is Burt Rutan's first design. It is a rather large and very complex wood airplane.
About 20 VariViggens are known to have been completed and flown. The VariViggen is the grandfather of the Voyager, perhaps Burt Rutan's most famous design, which now hangs in the Smithsonian.
This aircraft came into Florida Air Museum's collection in 1994.
