    Description
    Nice 7 pax leather interior + polished exterior. Beechcraft 3N CA-98 was one of the post war built Expeditors, and was assigned RCAF 2300. It also had Beech serial number A-698. The CA numbers were actually contract numbers. Taken on strength on 27 February 1952 by Training Command, and was first assigned to Station Winnipeg. There she was probably used by one of the Air Navigation Schools or Air Observer Schools there. In September 1959 2300 was lent briefly to Bristol Aircraft in Winnipeg, to prototype a new windshield defroster. Then with 2 AOS at Winnipeg in 1960, then 2 ANS at Winnipeg in 1962. Off to storage at Dunnville, Ontario on 21 November 1963. Then to Camp Borden as Instructional Airframe A 694 on 14 April 1964. To the Canadian Forces in 1967, but the plane did not receive a new serial number. Back to storage at Camp Borden on 8 January 1970. Finally transferred to the Crown Assets Disposal Corporation on 12 May 1972. Sold "complete, but not in flyable condition" along with two other ex-RCAF Twin Beech's to Warren Speed Shop of Toronto Canada on 11 October 1972. Served in the Canadian Forces from 1952 to 1972 @ 3287 hours total time. Then sold to a Lee Overture of Mena, AR. Flew just 77 hours out of Mena as N9281, then for years sat derelict in a field there. Rescued in 199, went to Springdale, AR where it was completely rebuilt and restored at 3363 hours by Mark Trimble. Extensive work included complete exterior polish, all new Ceconite recovered flight controls, new windows, new instruments and instrument panel, new brakes & flex lines, OH master cylinders, new tubes + tires, new batteries, all fuel tanks purged/cleaned/inspected, all non-rigid engine hoses replaced, new heating ducts, new cabin floorboards, spars Xrayed, Aerospace spar strap installed (STC3009WE), all deice and prop alky systems removed, aircraft weighed, new Airworthiness issued. 2001 AAA-APM Fly-in Awards: Best Beech Military, Warbird Sweepstakes, tied for Best Military Twin. US Civilian Certification: New Standard Category issued 10/8/91 @ 3363 hours Logs: Civilian Records from 1991 Airworthiness Issuance @ 3363 hrs on Annual, Oil Change, IFR: Fresh, 1/3/12 at Westport Airport, All Cylinder Compressions 78/80+ Weights (lbs): 8750 GW, 6114 EW, 1974 Fuel (152G Mains, 50G Aux's, 80G Nose) Ex RCAF "Artic Annie" N6640. Never a dedicated freighter. 410/410 SMOH. Many features, Excellent Condition.

Pilot/copilot inertial reel harnesses. Original style windshields, windows cabin door. Separate aft baggage- potty room. Custom aluminum accordion folding cabin door steps. Empty radio rack storage in tailcone.
