I, Kenneth Gottschall have constructed this aircraft over the last 10 years and offer it for sale at $79,900. It is a 70% full size TF 51 D Mustang two place aircraft that was produced from a kit by Task Research and later now by Legendary Aircraft Santa Paula, CA. Its composite construction is mated to a custom built Nascar type V-8 engine. A PSRU, due from Legandary shortly, will allow the engine to be mounted. Airframe is completely built and needs final sanding of primer prior to painting. Landing gear installed including retract tailwheel. Actuating hydraulic, elect. lines not installed. Powerplant is liquid cooled "small block desigh" of 400 cu. in. Capable of 750hp@8000rpm. PSRU rated limit of 475hp.@5400 rpm. Cooling is typical Mustang with operating coolant exhaust door. An air Flow fuel injection unit is included. Instrument panel complete and ready to install with Garmin 250GPS. Scale throttle quadrants, stick grips included .A 4ft level is seen in some pictures to give sense of size.
