Originally a Lockheed design and later manufactured under Experimental Registration with a Vandenev N14-P engine, the aircraft was modified in 2009 with the Aerotech Grizzly PT-6 conversion kit. The modification included a new wing with extension and reinforcements, Beaver Struts, firewall forward turbine mount as well as cowling and control installations. An extensive avionics upgrade was performed at the same time - creating a truly outstanding aircraft. The aircraft cruises at 130 knots on 35 gph with 1320 lb payload with full 6 hour fuel.
