Type: Varga 2150 Airframe Total Time: 1,694 Engine: 52 hrs since major overhaul Engine HP: 150HP This aircraft is as close to new as is possible; over $100,000 invested, no detail overlooked (complete build book compiled to show progress) 52 hours on newly overhauled engine New annual completed in April All AD’s complied with including vertical stabilizer Complete restoration with over $100,000 invested • 1,694 total time on aircraft • Engine overhauled with new Titan ECI cylinders and chrome valve covers o Baffling, hoses, accessories and all wiring replaced • Oil pan heater and battery charger receptacle installed inside cowling • All side panels and interior removed and inspected o New carburetor heat box, throttle cable, carburetor heat cable, rudder cables, tires, Lo Presti hub caps, battery, brake cylinders, oil bypass installed • Numerous other parts replaced (anything showing wear) • All new glass installed • Dove grey leather interior, including faux rear headrest, stick boots, side panels, new custom placards (carburetor heat, throttle, fuel selector valves) to match instrument panel and carpet installed • Seat belts/shoulder harnesses removed and new webbing (matching grey color) and chrome buckles installed • Sound proofing installed on side structural panels • New baggage bin fabricated • Fighter style grips front and rear with push to talk for communication, optional push to talk for intercom and radio flip-flop switches on grips • Fuses converted to circuit breakers and new custom panel designed (reverse engraving for lettering) • New jack box for radio plugs designed and installed on right panel to include external antenna connection and bracket for hand held radio • Avionics o Custom instrument panel fabricated (reverse engraving for lettering) o Removed old panel and all wiring - Installed Aspen Avionics Glass Panel: EFD1000 Pro PFD, Electronic Horizon, Horizontal Situation Indicator and flux valve compass system ($12,000 installed) - Installed Garmin SL-30 Comm/Nav, Garmin GTX 327 Digital Transponder, King KMD 250 GPS, and 3 Light Marker Beacon - New PS Engineering Hi Noise remote mounted intercom (MP-3 player input), Electronics Intl FP-5 Fuel Flow and EGT, Davtron M800 Voltmeter/Chronometer, new Vertical Compass, all other instruments including 6 pack removed and overhauled (new glass for 6 pack) - New style ELT installed • Military paint scheme to match TA-6 Texan II, two coats of clear coat applied over paint • Custom propeller paint scheme • New inside fire wall blanket installed • Custom wing root fairing fabricated, painted and installed • Custom gear fairings painted and installed • Both fuel selector valves overhauled Outstanding 1979 Varga with custom glass panel, paint and interior
