Description
New aircraft in service, bring offers! RayJay Turbos!
Where to start? This is one of only five E95 Travel Air's left on the FAA registry out of only fifteen total built! Remember, in 1968 when this airplane was built Beech had been building Barons for 7 years! The E95 is certainly the pinnacle of the Travel Air line with it's factory one piece sloped windshield, big baggage door, and Baron style nose. The owner of this Travel Air lost count long ago of how many airplanes he has owned in total. This was to be his last airplane and as such has been meticulously gone through system by system to be as close to perfect as possible. Serial aircraft owners are what they are and he is now going to buy something his grandson can learn in.
The new owner of this airplane will benefit innumerably from the recent work performed. When the owner came upon this airplane it was flying regularly but was pretty tired. He embarked on a meticulous and comprehensive restoration and refreshment that has produced what is very likely the best Travel Air flying today from a mechanical standpoint. Call me for details and copies of the logs. Recent work totals well north of $50k.
Obviously this is a very unique airplane. One day it is practical family or business transportation, the next day it is the center of attention on the contemporary classic line at the airshow. Don't be shy about making us a reasonable offer for the airplane but understand that there are no comparable BE95's out there in the market; this is one of one.
