Flown as an Ultralight, it requires no pilot license. It can also (plane) be certified and flown under the new Light-Sport Aircraft license. Flying is DANGEROUS, and you should get lessons before taking to the skies. Depending on your ability, 10+ hrs. This is the nicest flying plane I have had the opportunity to fly. It almost flies by itself. NO KIDDING!
Reason for selling; I have 2 other planes. They are both Amphibious aircraft. I do not need 3 planes. It has taken me almost a year to make this decision. I love this plane. It is beautiful, but 3 is at least 1 to many.

Airframe Notes
This aircraft has always been garaged or hangared during it’s building and/or since it’s completion! The kit was purchased in Nov. of 1996. It was completed and it first flight was in May 3001. The builder also built 2 other planes. They were Sail Planes. He enjoyed the building part of this hobby and not the flying part. He never flew any of the planes he built. He passed away from cancer before he was able to see this one fly. He was a body shop repair man. The workmanship and paint job is very special. It shines, (including the fabric surfaces) like no other Ultralight I have seen. It’s painted Candy Apple Red and Bright White. There are several small paint chips on the rudder, and a minor scratch on the nose cone of the cockpit (see pic’s). On the upholstered side panels, the fabric is loose in several small places (see pic's). The GPS mount is attached to the panel over the amp meter, and the digital tach/hour meter is attached over the analog tach. It’s TT (total time) is less than 110 hrs. TT, on an Ultralight is different than the time logged hrs on a GA (Cessna Piper) plane. The GA plane hour meter only counts time when the engine is running at an RPM equal to what’s required to fly. The Ultralight hour meter counts time from the second the engine is started. This also includes warm up, and taxing time. I would estimate the total flying time to be around 70 hrs. + or - 10 hrs. Where I have this plane hangared, the N/S runway is ½ mile long and a ¼ mile from my hanger. So taxing to the end of that runway, would take about 8 to 10 minutes. So, if I go for several practice touch and goes, I put as much or even more time on the hour meter while taxing, than I did flying.
