Description
In the past three years, this Commander has been exceptional well taken care of with three "blank check" annuals. I have receipts for over $140k investment into the aircraft, upgrades, new parts, overhauls and maintenance. This is a need nothing Commander that will provide economical transportation for a family of four or 3 full-size adults.
KEY HIGHLIGHTS
•470 SFOH on Zero Time Lycoming Factory Overhaul
•245 SNEW on Hartzell 3-Blad Top Prop Upgrade
•Upgraded Apollo / Garmin Avionics w/ MX20
•New Leather Interior from Douglas Interiors
•New Windshield and Glass All Around
•Fresh April 2009 Annual
For most owners, the Rockwell Commander 112/114 is the world’s finest piston single. The Rockwell Commander 112TC is one of the most comfortable cross country four seat aircrafts on the market. With a service ceiling of 20k feet and a turbo-charged Lycoming TO-360-C1A6D, N4532W can carry 938lbs of useful load at 160kts+ on 13.8 @16k feet. For practical non-oxygen flying at 10k, it will maintain 142kts TAS on 12.5 gph. The turbo and new 3-blade Top Prop also enables this aircraft to maintain 1000fpm+ all the way to altitude. I am 6’ 8” and can attest that this cabin is one of the roomiest and comfortable cabins ever made in a 4-seat piston single. With a recent avionics upgrade to a full IFR approach certified Apollo/Garmin stack, this is one great cross country cruiser. I am only selling to upgrade to a larger load carrying 7 seater for business use. I will also include a 2-Place SkyOx Portable Oxygen system in purchase.
There is also a very active Rockwell Commander owners group that will help you get the most of these wonderful machines including recommendations on best operating procedures, parts procurement and an annual fly-in of other Commander enthusiasts. This well maintained, regularly flown 4-Seater will provide unmatched comfort and affordability making it an excellent cross-country cruiser
