This Helicopter is based in Arizona at a 6600ft elevation airport. The summer density altitude is regularly above 9000ft and this helicopter will still climb at 800fpm with a 220lb pilot and full fuel tanks. It will then easily reach VNE which is 90KIAS under these conditions. This type of performance is generally not found in piston helicopters and is the primary reason why this Italian sport helicopter was purchased. The flying characteristics are closer to a Schweizer 300 rather than a Robinson R22. As this is a European kit helicopter it has also been subjected to a close review by European airworthiness authorities. This helicopter has also been built by a perfectionist, this will be clear upon inspection. The helicopter is balanced to better than 0.05IPS both vertically and horizontally.
