GippsAERO GA10 Coming in 2013! Versatile. Rugged. 10 Seats. Outstanding Performance. The GA10 brings an entry-level turboprop utility aircraft to the marketplace. The aircraft provides approximately 5 hours endurance with 8 occupants or will carry up to 10 occupants with a fuel trade off. The GA10 maintains the current GippsAERO concept of simplicity at low operating cost that has been so successful with the GA8 Airvan. The aircraft provides the operator with a maximum all up weight of 4450 lbs and an estimated empty weight of 2350 lbs and a maximum fuel load of 500 litres. Initial performance estimates indicate a Cruise Economy Factor (Seat Nautical Miles per Litre/Gallon) that compares favorably with other current turbo prop utility types. Type certification by the Australian CASA is anticipated in Feb 2013. While the GA10 is to be a whole new FAR 23 certified aircraft, the GA8 aerodynamic design is retained and current GA8 production parts are used as far as possible, to minimize development and production costs thus enabling GippsAERO to offer the GA10 at a very realistic price.
