    Description
CB Aviation is proud to bring this 1960 Dornier Do-27 A4 to the market. If you are looking for the perfect Dornier, look no further. This aircraft possesses a spectacular history and provenance. It was delivered to, and operated by, the German Air Force approximately 6 years after it left the factory in 1960. After serving with the German Air Force, the aircraft was then returned to the factory and modified from an A3 model to an A4 model in 1966. This aircraft then transitioned to the French government, Ministry of Sports for parachute jumping for several years. French commercial operation regulations required inspections every 50 hours of operation. Inspections, repairs, and maintenance were performed consistently by the French government. The aircraft eventually sold to a French diplomat stationed in Washington, DC. The owner ferried the aircraft to the U.S. and flew it recreationally. Sometime afterwards, the aircraft was sold to Brian Meuser in California who performed a meticulous, detailed restoration, including matching the original military colors and markings. This Dornier’s current owner purchased the aircraft in 2006 and has used it for recreational flying. With 919 SMOH, TTAF 8020 and AD's in compliance. Engine compressions at last annual on 9/15 all cylinders at or over 78, and NO damage history! This Dornier is priced right with show-winning looks and ready for you to fly!
