The XP-TALON is a one-of-a-kind high performance sport airplane. It is not a replica. Looks like a cross between a Mustang and a Spitfire. Plans built

420 hp 400 cu.in. aluminum Chevy type Rodeck V-8 engine. Uses a dry sump system with a large oil tank behind the rear seat. Engine cooling is accomplished with a Griffon radiator under each wing. The oil is cooled through two oil coolers mounted in the cowling.

74" Hartzell constant speed propeller via a Geschwender 1.7:1 reduction unit.
