This unique 1959 Apache was used leased to a flight school as a twin engine trainer and maintained by North Coast Air Care in Akron Ohio. In reviewing the log books any perspective buyer will attest to this statement. In 1985 STC SA899SW was installed using new 180hp Lycoming engines with ‘Q’ tip Hartzell props STC SA 3751SW extending the nose 16 inches as well as modification of the baggage compartment was added as well known in the industry as a Geronimo Conversion. In 2008 the Southwind heater was overhauled In 2010 both props were overhauled by H&S Propeller In 2011 STC SA10682SC Plane Power alternator conversion was installed. During this installation all of the old alternator wiring was removed and new installed. The removal of the old wiring was done at the owner’s request which is not normally done during this conversion again attesting to the quality of the work the owner required.
