Description
This Aerostar has a good flight and maintenance history with consistent annual inspections, no major repairs, all logbooks in place and just about every desirable modification installed. It averaged 180 flying hours between annual inspections from its manufacture date, but had a less active life between June of 2002 and June of 2004 when we acquired the airplane. Since then we have flown it approximately 65 hours in 6 months and have taken the time to bring the airplane back up to speed and work the bugs out. Some of the repairs have included: repair of the air conditioning system, repair of the cabin heater, repair of a nosewheel shimmy on landing, calibrated the fuel quantity indicating system, installed new brake discs and linings, O2 bottle hydro test, compliance with AD’s that were due or past due (including installation of new style oil scavenge pumps), overhaul of both props and prop governors……… just to mention a few (see maintenance highlights below). The pre-purchase was done for us by Alan Speakmaster in Connecticut, and the airplane was given very high marks. Additionally, we recently had Lycoming SB 561 and some other work done by The Flight Shop in Brigham City, UT (another reputable Aerostar shop) and received further compliments on just how sound and well equipped this aircraft is.
Seller’s bonus:
With sale of aircraft a fresh annual inspection including necessary repairs will be completed by the Flight Shop, Brigham City, UT.
