    Engine TT: 413.35 hrs since new in 1995 TBO: 4200 hrs w/ HSI at 1400 hrs Type: Allied Signal (Garrett) TFE 731-4 Turbofan Take-off thrust: 4,080 lbs. The TFE 731-4 is a two-spool turbofan with a geared, single-stage front fan. The four-stage low pressure axial compressor and the one-stage fan are driven by a three-stage low pressure turbine. The engine is controlled by a Digital Electronic Control System (DEEC), with two levels of redundancy. The DEEC provides starting schedule, acceleration and decel-eration control, automatic power changes due to ambient conditions, over-speed protection, surge control and turbine temperature limiting. Starting is also controlled by a starter generator. New Fuel Cells.
