Description
Sikorsky S-62! Ex-Coast Guard HH-52A 1403 (N52NP). Complete Package!
This helicopter proudly served the United States Coast Guard from 1965-1989. It was one of a fleet of 99 that saved more 15,000 lives (more than any other helicopter fleet in history).
It is powered by a GE T58 Gas Turbine (Jet) Engine. It is the same type of engine that powers Marine One, the Presidential helicopter and many other helicopters still in the current U.S. military fleet. A real reliable power-plant with great history. They are also serviced by many overhaul shops, parts are also readily available.
It is set up for fire suppression and has fought fires most of its civilian life (I have a bunch of the past fire contract records).
N52NP is located in Palmer, Alaska and needs and annual inspection. The 9 airframes and custom trailer are in Cochise, AZ. The spares, tools and logs are in Los Angeles, CA
The trailer is included and requires no hoist to take a helicopter on or off. It will need tires, brakes, lights, license, and fenders to make road worthy.
I am open to leases or lease option to buy or partnerships. Send e-mails to [email protected]
PLEASE READ!!! You must get U.S. State Dept. approval if your plans are to remove these helicopters from the United States. Please get approval before bidding.
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THE EXTRA AIRFRAMES I WILL SELL THEM INDIVIDUALLY. $25K EACH FOR ANY OF THE FOUR MACHINES WITH NUMBERS AND PAPERWORK. $15K EACH FOR ONE OF THE STATIC MACHINES WITH NO PAPERWORK. CONTACT [email protected] FOR MORE DETAILS.
