In 1995 a complete restoration was started that was finished in 1996. The aircraft was completely rebuild with new Stits fabric, new wiring, overhauled engine, new glass, new interior, overhauled instruments, rebuilt wind generator, prop, etc. The cowling is original and shows signs of its age. There are patches on the cowl. The entire plane was painted in original Cub beige with a maroon stripe. The interior is maroon and beige with a light colored headliner and maroon carpet. The panel is refinished in black. The fabric is in excellent condition with a small patch in the rear where the fabric was cut to access the structure to make the necessary improvements for the Scott tailwheel. Condition of the exterior is considered to be an 8 out of 10 and the interior a 9. The airplane has 385 hrs since total rebuild and has been in a climate controlled hangar in Ocala FL. It is now hangered near Memphis, TN. All logs are complete since new! No Damage since rebuild. Flies Great!
