I purchased this plane 2 years ago, from a bankrupcy. I replaced soundproofing, reworked interior, installed new color radar, G530, replaced the A/C, including the lines and evaporators. Then we got to the hydraulic system, replaced engine pumps, two of the landing gear lift actuators, replaced starters, batteries, on, and on. Then, I took the plane to Europe, Africa, and Middle East. Was gone for 155 flight hours and 6 months. I was going to go again this year, but unfortunately, I have to work. The plane is not flying near as much as it deserves to, and therefore it is up for sale. The good, engines are strong, everything works. The bad, the log books are not complete. When this plane was built, it was immediately exported to Colombia. From the records, it seems that it somehow ended up seized in Jamaica, and and was flown for some years with the Jamaican police. Then, it was imported to USA in 2006 and then sold in a bankruptcy, to me in 2012. Excellent records since 2006, but I think that due to the nature of who owned it and where it was flying, the records prior to 2006 cannot be trusted. I didn't care, because it did not matter to me when the oil was changed in 1988... and I was able to fly 1.3 million dollars worth of airplane for just a little more than half the money. In any case, this is the reason that this plane is offered for about half what competitive planes are offered at.
